Vessel BLUESTAR NAXOS suffered steering gear damage during her winter sailing season, after encountering heavy seas which led to grounding. 

The works included the following stages:
 

  1. Rigorous inspection, measurements and damage assessment
     

  2. Machining of upper and lower tapper castings on our CNC MX5RAM Boring-Milling machine, to oversize dimensions.
